Thanks to an exponential rise in breweries and distilleries in and around Chicago these past few years, never has our fair city been so spirited. One of the distilleries at the forefront has been CH Distillery, which innovated as a distillery and cocktail bar in the West Loop, where customers could actually see where their vodka and gin was distilled before it made its way into their drinks. The portfolio has expanded over the months to include rum, bourbon, amaro, and now its latest creation, the Spirit of Du Sable.

Chicagoans can’t get enough burgers. Nowadays it’s rare for a restaurant not to offer some sort of burger on their menu, and burger-centric restaurants pop up faster than groundhogs in February. In terms of Loop dining and drinking culture, the South Loop has long been relegated to the shadows of the West Loop and Loop. It’s the Loop more commonly associated with Museum Campus, Soldier Field, and Grant Park, which is all well and good, but dining and drinking options paled in comparison to its Loop brethren. All that is changing rapidly, thanks to the epic uptick in breweries/brewpubs taking shape in the neighborhood.
