It’s almost that time of year, the extended week where Chicago goes ballistic for craft beer. The 5th Annual Chicago Craft Beer Week takes place May 15 through May 25, a celebration of the city’s ever-burgeoning craft beer scene. Hosted by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, this year is bound to be bigger and better than ever, what with Chicago’s beer scene experiencing colossal numbers over the past years.

Judging by the scent of tequila in the air, Cinco de Mayo is upon us. One of the most reliable harbingers of spring, the raucous holiday is an apt opportunity to kick back and celebrate the finality of an elongated winter, and no better way to celebrate than with an avalanche of tacos, margaritas, and guacamole.
