One of the most reliable harbingers of summer is the al fresco barbecue series at Sportsman’s Club. The Ukrainian Village bar just announced its lineup of guest chefs/barbecuers for the upcoming season, and boy does it sound promising.

Running from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the reliable bookends of the season, the summer barbecue series finds a new guest chef every Sunday, adjoined by rotating draft cocktails, snow cones, and Sportsman’s first collaboration beer with Off Color Brewing, a grapefruit- and passion fruit-scented berliner weisse called Grizzly King Tiki-Weiss.

The festivities kick off for the season on May 24 with John Manion of La Sirena Clandestina and the forthcoming El Che Bar. The subsequent chefs include Rachel Dow from The Betty on May 31, Nick Lacasse of Half Acre on June 7, Greg Bastien of The Winchester on July 4, Mark Hellyar of Momotaro on August 9, and Dave Cooper of Bite Cafe on August 16.
