In case the mega-Italian wonderland known as Eataly isn’t astounding enough as is, the downtown restaurant complex and marketplace is constantly rolling out new programs and events faster than they can roll out fresh pasta. From Spaghetti Western Wednesdays to a truffle-themed pop-up, here’s the latest news to salivate over at Eataly.

Everyone loves a good Spaghetti Western, those shoot ’em up-style flicks that just radiate heroism and action-adventure. The only way to improve upon that formula is by adding actual spaghetti to the mix. Enter: Spaghetti Western Wednesdays. The new weekly promo takes place in beer-focused La Birreria, where Spaghetti Western flicks will be broadcast and adjoined by spaghetti specials.

If truffles are more your speed, then you’ll want to take note of Eataly’s lavish new pop-up. Through April 5, Eataly is hosting a truffle-centric pop-up restaurant featuring a special truffle-based menu of both black and white varieties. The makeshift restaurant will be an extension of La Piazza, showcasing chef-driven dishes that will be easy to replicate at home, with the idea being to serve both as dinner and inspiration for attendees.

Over at Eataly’s butcher counter, guests are invited to get up close and personal with the nose-to-tail stylings and celebrate Midwestern meats with an Italian accent. Each Friday, the butchery hosts one local meat producer to discuss their product and present a different whole animal. The following week, the meat will be available for purchase at the counter along with information about the producer, and Eataly’s restaurants will also prepare special dishes in honor of said meat.

Lastly, Eataly is celebrating Easter will La Colomba di Pasque, aka the “Easter Dove.” This dove-shaped cake is traditionally made with flour, eggs, sugar, and butter, topped with pearl sugar and almonds. And guess what? Eataly has it this Easter season, so go get your cake on. Maybe pair it with a glass of Prosecco, per Italian tradition.
