Cinema and Cocktails Collide at JIMMY

JIMMY

Summer is prime movie-going season, but beyond the standard theater, movies in the park, or the drive-in, there’s a bar in River North serving up a nostalgia-rooted cinema experience all season long. ’70s films in a signature ’70s-inspired setting is the name of the game at JIMMY this summer.

The brainchild of CIMMfest co-founder Josh Chicoine, the summer movie series at JIMMY features a different film from the 1970s each Wednesday through August 26. The classic films dovetail with the classic motif of the clandestine craft cocktail bar. Chicoine selected 10 films for the series, one for every year of the decade.
