Meals on Wheels Chicago is getting ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its annual Celebrity Chef Ball on October 26, with its most star-studded culinary lineup to date. This year’s event will be held at the Zhou B Art Center in Bridgeport, stocked to the gills with top-tier cuisine and cocktails prepared by local and national industry pros.

Pastries can be comfort food, guilty pleasures, breakfast, or dessert, and now in the new production of Cyrano de Bergerac, these sweet multi-taskers fill the role of props.
 

Jake Bickelhaupt is a man on a mission – a mission to find his own voice as a chef and express his own style of cooking in a medium befitting said style. With Sous Rising, an underground restaurant he founded with his wife Alexa, Bickelhaupt found that voice. Now after a myriad of dinners hosted in their home, the duo are prepared to rise even further with a brick-and-mortar restaurant of their own.
