Check, Please! presents Pop-Ups at Taste of Chicago
WTTW’s Check, Please! and Taste of Chicago 2014 present “Pop-Up” restaurants to be featured at this year’s festival. Each of the restaurants – hand-picked by Check, Please! – are neighborhood gems, some of which have been on Check, Please! The restaurants will “pop up” for a day or two at Taste, and their menu items may be purchased with the same food and beverage tickets as all other booths.
New Pop-Up menu items include an Eggplant Parmigiana Sandwich from Punky's Pizza & Pasta, Peanut Butter Pocket from Stan’s Donuts & Coffee, Feijoada from Brazilian Bowl Grill, Croque Monsieur Sandwich from Brasserie LM, and Seafood Gumbo from Riva. The 2014 Pop-Up Schedule is as follows:
