Nantucket Scallops Make a Splash in the Midwest

When you think of November foods, scallops aren’t likely the first thing to come to mind. Monopolized by turkey, pumpkin pie, gravy, and stuffing, the holiday season tends to fall into a predictable paradigm, when really there’s a whole sea of seasonal delicacies out there that are just as deserving of your attention and appetite. One such specialty is Nantucket Cape scallops, a divine and slightly sweet type of scallop that splashes into season early November and runs until temperatures and catch levels allot.
