Wine Gladiator Challenge

Sommelier and executive beverage director Jon McDaniel will host Acanto’s second annual Somm Slam dinner and wine pairing competition, where 10 sommeliers will be facing off in pairs. Each course will be accompanied by two wines, selected by the competing sommeliers. Dish and wine descriptions will be provided to guests, who will choose one favorite wine pairing for each course. After the final dish of the evening, guests will vote for the best overall pairing.
