New Year's Day at Chicago q

On New Year’s Day, Chicago q hosts a brunch created by Chef/Partner Lee Ann Whippen to satisfy brunch-goers’ “sweet tooth” and “meat tooth” by featuring house-made confections and house-smoked meats. As a special, the restaurant will serve Black Eyed Peas. In the Southern United States, these peas are eaten on New Year’s Day as a good luck treat thought to bring prosperity for the year.
