We All Scream For an Ice Cream Pop-up
Continuing the annual tradition of tempting downtown passersby with gourmet ice cream, David Burke’s Primehouse’s pastry chef Jove T. Hubbard is once again ready to host his weekly ice cream shop pop-up series, Jove T.’s Ice Cream Shop. Hosted at the restaurant, the ice cream pop-up takes place every Friday from 3:00 until 5:00 pm, wherein Hubbard embraces his whimsical side with offbeat ice cream flavors for the hungry masses.
Each week features two different ice cream flavors. The inaugural flavors for the season are strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla bean ice cream, rhubarb, and strawberry pie pieces; and pineapple caramel brownie sundae with caramelized white chocolate ice cream, butter rum roasted pineapple, brownie pieces, and Luxardo cherries. Flavors for June 20 are blueberry waffle made with butter maple ice cream, blueberry jam swirl, and blueberry waffle pieces; and grasshopper ice cream with creme de menthe ice cream, chocolate ice cream, and chocolate cookie crumble.
Each Wednesday, the restaurant will announce weekly flavors on their social media platforms, so stay tuned.
