The Blackhawks made it to the Stanley Cup Finals, and now some restaurants around the city are offering fun hockey-related dining specials. Whether you want a Patrick Kane-inspired burger or a cocktail that matches the Hawks uniforms, here’s where to support your team through your stomach.

Having a Stanley Cup watch party? Hit up Magnolia Bakery for Blackhawks cupcakes. Available in chocolate or vanilla cake with vanilla or chocolate buttercream, the cupcake is topped with a Blackhawks ring and available in store on game days.

Hawks player Patrick Kane is a Buffalo, NY native, so DMK Burger Bar is serving the Patrick Kane burger, a grass-fed patty topped with blue cheese dressing, house-made buffalo sauce, chili-rubbed onion strings, and shaved celery. The burger is available throughout the series.

Filini Bar and Restaurant is offering Blackhawks specials during the series, including the Home-Ice Advantage, a flight of three Chicago beers; the Stanley Pimm’s Cup; plus snacks like mini Chicago-style hot dogs.

All of the Rosebud restaurants will be offering the Blackhawks Berry Mojito, which is made by mixologist Trudy Thomas. The cocktail, which uses blackberries and raspberries to match the Blackhawks uniforms, is also made with Mount Gay Rum, Creme de Mure, and prosecco. The drink is available at The Rosebud, Carmine’s, Rosebud on Rush, Rosebud Steakhouse, Rosebud Theater District, Centro Ristorante, Rosebud Italian Specialties & Pizzeria, Rosebud Prime, Rosebud Old World Italian, and Rosebud Deerfield.

Blackhawks Berry Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. Mount Gay Rum
  • 1/2 oz. Creme de Mure
  • 1/4 oz. simple syrup
  • 1/2 lime, pressed
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 2 each, blackberries and raspberries

Directions:

  1. Muddle 6 mint leaves to a shaker with a splash of simple syrup and 1/2 a lime.
  2. Add rum, Creme de Mure, berries, and ice to shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously then double strain over fresh ice.
  4. Top with prosecco and stir to combine.  
  5. Garnish with mint and a pick with 1 blackberry and 1 raspberry.
