Good news! You can now find Bang Bang Pie Shop’s masterful pies at Parson’s Chicken and Fish. The offerings will rotate, and the first dessert is baked lemon cream pie with ginger cracker crust.

Lakeview’s La Creperie will be closing at the end of August. The owner and manager are both leaving Chicago and the building has been sold. You still have time to make a final visit, so make sure you get ratatouille or nutella crepes before it’s too late.

Tony Hu’s latest restaurant, Lao 18, has launched dim sum lunch service Monday through Friday. Head in for shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns, crispy pan-fried noodles, and other dishes.
