Suzanne is a retired college professor and physical therapist. She loves Italian food and dining out with her husband.

The restaurant that keeps me coming back is La Luce, our neighborhood Italian spot in Chicago's West Loop. It's a small, intimate, casual place where the staff recognizes and welcomes us as regulars. They have my favorite beer on draft and the food is excellent and presented well. The bruschetta is delicious, the pasta is always perfect, and the veal melts in your mouth. A favorite dish for lunch is the seafood salad, loaded with several types of shellfish and calamari. We often see neighbors there who are also regulars, enhancing our social experience, although we in fact both like the same table so it's a competition to get there first at times!
