CH Distillery Stirs Up Guest Bartender Series

Chicago is a city saturated with destination-worthy bars, presided over by masterful mixologists shaking up killer potables. So it makes sense that bartenders would mingle and share the love with one another. CH Distillery celebrates its compatriots with a new guest bartender series kicking off next month, wherein a different mixologist makes a one-night-only cameo behind the CH bar on the second Tuesday of every month.

The guest bartender series debuts with a bang, as Charles Joly prepares to man the bar at CH Distillery on February 11. Joly is the chief mixologist at boundary-pushing The Aviary and was named “Best American Bartender” at Tales of the Cocktail last year. So he knows his way around a delicious drink. Joly will make two drinks for the CH menu on February 11 only, creating them behind the bar using only CH spirits for one drink and any ingredients whatsoever for the other.

Following Joly, Eden Laurin and Patrick Smith (The Violet Hour) take the helm on March 11, Clint Rogers (The Dawson) makes an appearance on April 8, Kyle Davidson (Blackbird) does booze duty on May 13, Justin Anderson (La Sirena Clandestina) takes over on August 12, and Matty Eggleston (Nico Osteria) mans the bar on October 14.
