April is Grilled Cheese Month!
We love grilled cheese. Is there anything better than ooey, gooey cheese melted between toasted slices of bread? We think not. Here are three spots to indulge in grilled cheese this month.
Deca Restaurant and Bar celebrates all month with creative grilled cheese sandwiches. The French reuben is made with duck pastrami, sauerkraut, and gruyere on country bread; the morel mushroom layers mushrooms, asparagus, and fromage blanc on sourdough bread; the monte cristo is made with roasted turkey, Benton ham, housemade raspberry preserves and Comte cheese; and the Welsh rarebit is made with beer braised pork and Hook’s cheddar.
Each Wednesday, head to Handlebar to indulge your inner child. An order of grilled cheese and alphabet soup is on special.
Cheesie’s Pub and Grub specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches, like the classic, with Merkt’s cheddar cheese, American cheese, tomatoes, ham, and bacon on Texas toast and the popper, with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, cheddar sauce, fresh jalapeno slices, and bacon on sourdough bread.
