Trattoria Gianni

Lincoln Park Italian restaurant Trattoria Gianni turns 25 this month, and the restaurant is celebrating throughout June with a three-course prix fixe menu and deals on Brugnano Catarratto Bianco and Azienda Tola Nero D’Avola, wines from owner and founder Gianni Delisi’s hometown of Partinico, Italy.

The restaurant’s menu focuses on regional Italian fare and includes housemade pastas, like the Tagliatelle Bolognese, which has been on the menu since the restaurant opened, plus seafood and meat dishes. The special menu includes a choice of antipasti or insalate, such as bruschetta or eggplant with tomato sauce and goat cheese. Main courses include risotto with wild mushrooms and truffle oil, linguine with scallops and shrimp, or grilled pork chops with garlic and rosemary. End with the choice of tiramisu, cannoli, panna cotta, gelato, or sorbet.

The trattoria has a new 100-seat patio with fountains and foliage, so you’ll feel like you’re dining in an Italian piazza.
