Pop-Up Cookbook Dinner

Chef Spiaggia and Chef Tony Mantuano host James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Solomonov for a pop-up dinner at the restaurant to kick off his U.S. book tour. The Cafe will feature a four-course dinner inspired by dishes from Chef Solomonov’s first-ever Israeli cuisine cookbook, Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking. Selections will include hummus and pita with salatim, crispy haloumi, fried cauliflower, fluke, kibbe naya, lamb shoulder, and new school konafi with labneh ice cream and tehina cookies. Cafe Spiaggia will host a book signing in the Spiaggia lounge from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
