Growing Home Fall Open House

Growing Home opens its doors for an afternoon of fun and learning. Guests are welcome to learn kitchen skills from a healthy cooking demo using all-fresh ingredients. They are able to take home produce from the Farm Stand and discover all there is to organic urban farming. Alderman Raymond Lopez discusses community development. A yoga class is also offered, as well as face paint, sidewalk art, and veggie games to keep kids entertained.
