Gapers Block Hot Dog Cookoff

The event features new interpretations of the classic Vienna Beef hot dog by chefs from Harmony Grill, Wiener and Still Champion, Monti's, ThePizzle.net, and two-time defending champions ManBQue. The judges includes hot dog historian Bruce Kraig, Doug Sohn of Hot Doug's, David "Food Dude" Lissner, Chef Alan Lake, and Chicagoist editor Lisa White. Proceeds from the event will directly support ROR of Illinois, a non-profit that makes early literacy a standard part of pediatric primary care so that Illinois children are prepared to succeed in school.
$20/adults, $10/children under 12.
