Culinary Fight Club - Windy City Chili

A cooking competition where three teams have 30 seconds to grab all the ingredients they can in order to cook the best chili they can.  Chefs can also bring 3 secret ingredients to help their chances.  The judges will choose the official winner and the audience chooses a People's Choice Winner.  A portion of the ticket goes to the charity called Fight2Feed helping knock out hunger in the streets of Chicago.

"Breaking the Wheel" Cheese and Wine Tasting

Tesori hosts a unique cheese and wine tasting event led by Chef Danny Sweis.  Participants will sip and sample a variety of wines from Maso Canali and DaVinci, paired with an array of appetizers. At 6:15 p.m., Chef Sweis will break open an 80 pound wheel of authentic red cow parmigiano-reggiano cheese, and guests will experience the immediate release of aroma and taste its buttery texture and notes of nuttiness and sweet fruit. The certified Italian cheese has been produced under the same strict regimen that has made it the "king of cheeses" for over six hundred years.

Food Fight for Scleroderma

Jason Paskewitz (The Blanchard), Nathan Sears (The Radler) and Lamar Moore (Hotel Chicago) will face-off in a friendly cooking competition in the name of a great cause. Each chef will present a dish to the audience of food-lovers as well as a panel of judges. Guests will vote for their favorite dish of the night and judges will score based on taste, creativity and presentation. Scores from both groups are combined and a winning chef is announced at the end of the evening.  Amanda Puck (host of Check, Please! 2001 and 2002) will emcee the event.
