Founders Tap Takeover at Tuman’s Tap & Grill

Tuman’s hosts Founders Brewing Company for a tap takeover featuring limited release, seasonal and year-round brews and beer education from Chris Hess and Mike Maloney from the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based brewery.
The drafts, which range from $5-$7, include Dissenter Imperial IPL, Big Lushious Stout, Backwoods Bastard Scotch Ale, Mosaic Promise Ale, Double Trouble Imperial IPA, Red’s Rye IPA, All Day IPA, and Porter.

The Publican's New Years Day Brunch

In celebration of the New Year, The Publican offers an à la carte brunch. The menu features a raw seafood bar, as well as Publican brunch classics such as the 'Publican Bacon' and 'Red Wine Poached Eggs' and includes Bloody Marys and Publican mimosas.

New Year's Day at Chicago q

On New Year’s Day, Chicago q hosts a brunch created by Chef/Partner Lee Ann Whippen to satisfy brunch-goers’ “sweet tooth” and “meat tooth” by featuring house-made confections and house-smoked meats. As a special, the restaurant will serve Black Eyed Peas. In the Southern United States, these peas are eaten on New Year’s Day as a good luck treat thought to bring prosperity for the year.

Donut Fest 2015

Editor of Plate Magazine, and Emcee for Seasonal Slam, Chandra Ram, chose blood oranges, sweet potatoes, and cauliflower as the ingredients for this edition of the competition. The dishes and cocktails will go head to head in this culinary battle with guests unaware of who is serving up each dish.
